In Group – IV there are two Papers i.e Paper – I and Paper – II. Appsc officials will conducted as two papers.
In Paper – 1 General Studies is the subject. In the examination part the syllabus on History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Current Affairs and Disaster Management
In the disaster management there are so many concepts i.e Concepts in disaster management and vulnerability profile of India / State of A.P, Earth quakes / Cyclones / Tsunami / Floods / Drought – causes and effects, Man made disasters – Prevention strategies, Mitigation strategies / Mitigation measures.
In paper – 2 Secretarial Abilities is the subject. In the examination point of view syllabus on Mental Ability (Verbal and non-verbal), Logical Reasoning, Comprehension, Re-arrangement of sentences with a view to improve analysis of a passage, Numerical and Arithmetical abilities.

For History, Geography go for 10th(social text book) standard. Economics means about indian income,(income sources like tax,types of taxes,wine shops ext ext……) and i hope u know about Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Current Affairs. coming to paper 2 total aptitude. hope u understand well
